Ted White has been active in SF fandom since the 1950s, publishing many fanzines, winning the 1968 Hugo for best fan writer, being a guest of honour at the 1985 Australian Worldcon and receiving the 2010 FAAn Award for lifetime achievement. Professionally, he has published many genre novels (see links below) and edited a number of US magazines, including Amazing Stories and Fantastic from 1969 to 1979.
